YIELD: 6 Hamburger/sandwich buns, or 12 dinner rolls, or a combination.
Place oven rack in top third of oven. Preheat your oven to 450F.
Prepare your 10″ x 15″ sheet pan by lining it with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, add:
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 cups NEW LMB BREAD MIX
Whisk to combine until thickened.
Use a rubber spatula to scrape your batter onto your prepared loaf pan. Mound into 6 equal-ish-sized buns.
For HAMBURGER buns: roll them in your hands to make uniform, rounded balls (this will yield a loftier, squish-able bun for that dressed-up, juicy burger).
For SANDWICH buns: flatten slightly (this will yield a flatter, wider bun to build your sandwich).
For DINNER ROLLS: divide each bun in half.
OPTIONAL: top with seeds or Everything Bagel Seasoning.
Bake in top third of oven. Reduce temperature to 400F.
Bake 50 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool. Makes 6 burger/sandwich buns, or 12 dinner rolls, or a combination.
